STONE TEMPLE PILOTS Frontman Expects Reconciliation With Wife
November 21, 2002Despite the fact that his wife recently filed for divorce, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS frontman Scott Weiland is skeptical that the proceedings will follow through and expects a reconciliation.
"I think my wife and I will stay together, to tell you the truth. Yeah, I just talked to her on the phone today and like neither of us, really want, you know, if we do get a divorce, we'll probably get remarried six months later."
Scott and Mary Weiland were married on May 22, 2000, and separated on September 19 of this year. The couple has two children: Noah, born in November, 2000, and Lucy, born this past July. Weiland says he's enjoying fatherhood, but isn't planning on any more children.
"It's great. Now I have a boy and a girl and I'm done. I'm about to, I'm gonna get cut."
Weiland is currently working on a solo album, while also producing tracks for Michelle Branch.
